This atlas presents data on cancer incidence and mortality from the whole of the UK and Ireland in a uniquely useful and detailed way. It provides in-depth analysis of the data at health authority level for the period 1991-2000, giving a detailed picture of geographical patterns in the most commonly occurring cancers and relating these patterns to known and putative risk factors, and to socio-economic deprivation.
