This collection examines a wide range of issues surrounding prosecution decisions largely in the Anglo-American context. The emphasis is on the values ostensibly underpinning the prosecution process the criteria actually used by decision makers and the patterns which result. Issues covered include conceptual approaches the different working rules of different types of prosecution agency diversion from prosecution plea bargaining and special problems such as domestic violence.
