The first part of this book proposes a general model of the credit market with imperfect information. Then referring to that general model it describes how assuming different hypothesis on the type of asymmetrical information existing in the market credit rationing equilibria may arise. The last part provides a comparative static analysis about the implications of credit rationing for the effectiveness of monetary policy.
