The book attempts to combine two perspectives to the development of contract law on the one hand the contract-theoretical discourse on the changes in modern welfarist contract law and on the other hand comparative law discourse on harmonization of international contract law. The theme is analysed from the point of view of legal integration in the European Union. The EU rules affecting contract law are presented and analysed.
