This annual supplement is a compilation volume to the monthly Economic Trends, as well as a reference source in its own right. It presents long runs of data for the main economic indicators in the UK dating back up to fifty years. It also contains a section with notes and definitions that provide methodological guidance on the compilation of the figures. The data is consistent with the European System of Accounts (ESA 95). Statistics relate mainly to the UK and cover the following subjects: UK economic accounts, prices, the labour market, selected output and demand indicators, and selected financial statistics.
