This volume of papers brings together the work of lawyers philosophers and political theorists. The editor has selected papers which look at postmodernism in law from the perspectives of culture and thought. At the level of culture the authours examine the implications for law of the turn to postmodernism in contemporary culture. Postmodern theory is taken up in reference to justification legal argument and truth. In the introduction to the volume the editor provides an outline of postmodern jurisprudence which contains a new account of the nature of justification in law.
